Evening of Light is Alvis' annual event which brings together hundreds of businesses, organizations, and individuals to celebrate lives turned around by 180 degrees! The evening spotlights the successes of children and families of Alvis and honors families who have helped strengthen our community. Funded by the generous donors of Evening of Light, the Alvis Family and Children's Program offers parents and children resources and support as they work together to strengthen their relationships and rebuild productive, healthy, self-sufficient lives.
Each year, at Evening of Light, Alvis honors a family whose efforts have positively impacted our community and created sustainable social change. In 2022, we are honoring Donna and Larry James' commitment to family and the positive impact their philanthropy and volunteerism has provided to the Central Ohio community.
Their many years of service to our community is commendable and Alvis holds them both in the highest regard. The James' collective impact on Columbus and beyond has touched so many lives and we feel that the work and focus of Alvis are closely aligned with their tremendous history of service. They have both given so much to the Columbus Museum of Art, United Way, GCAC, YWCA, American Red Cross and on and on.
Thank you, Donna and Larry!
